This day, today, is the only day we know we have. And that is a gift to embrace and unwrap. So let’s explore the possibilities of Today.

Today is brand new. There has never been this day in the history of all the days. This day is full of invitation to be made new, to be remade, and for us to co-create with the Divine. What new thing might we learn today? What new thing might we do today? So, let’s explore being made new!

I often interact with people who love the Jesus that saves them, saves us, but they don’t seem to make the transition to engaging what Jesus did and taught. Faith becomes about the work Jesus has done and now we are just supposed to sing songs to him and try really hard to be morally dipped in starch. But Jesus actually lived a certain way, rooted in love, and Jesus taught others to live rooted in this same love. So what would happen if we took seriously Jesus’s teaching? That collision might just change everything.
